April Ipsy Bag

Hello Beauty Addicts! (Okay I hope you’re beauty addicts then I’m not alone out here!)
I got my April Ipsy bag and I was really excited, it was a good month! Also because it’s my birthday month!
This month’s bag had a bunch of treats, so I am going to jump right in!
I got this Adesse nail polish in a pretty shade of gray. I did try it out for my weekly DIY mani and it went on pretty thick, I always do two coats of polish but I really felt like I didn’t necessarily need to for this polish. I will say that it held up fairly well and didn’t chip too much. So I would give this product a B+.
So when I first swatched the Starlooks liquid eyeshadow I was neither impressed nor unimpressed. But then: it wouldn’t come off! It kept its pretty shimmer even after trying to rub it off with my finger, so in the end I was really impressed!! I am not sure about liquid eye shadows to begin with but this might work as a base to add a real shimmery depth to whatever color you put on top of it. Also, the rose gold color is gorgeous!
I already have a ton of the Tarte LipSurgence lip cremes so I was excited to get this. They have a minty smell and are super moisturizing. I also love the color, it’s the perfect spring color – gorgeous berries! (I don’t actually know the official name!)
I tried the Pur~Lisse mask the other day and it was definitely as promised, very hydrating and my skin felt amazing afterwards. I will say that like all sheet masks it got freezing cold on my face, but I find that to be a little bit soothing. I know that some people use them in the bath and maybe that keeps them warmer but in my climate controlled house it got very cold!
I have purchased and received some Luxie brushes prior to getting this highlighting one. I love Luxie! They are an amazing makeup brush brand and they have very reasonable prices!
