Happy December!
I can’t believe the year went by so fast! What the heck?! Since we’re gearing up for shopping season, I thought I might list out some of my favorite beauty sites that might not be as popular as Sephora or Ulta. There are many places that you probably have heard of but some might be brand new!
Amazon.com – What? I know. Amazon actually has a pretty great selection of high end/luxury beauty and the low end/drug store products. A lot of times I will find something is sold out at Sephora and I will search for it at Amazon and find it for a better price! Some brands I have found that were new to me are: Sara Happ (the most AMAZING lip products!) her stuff goes on sale on Amazon all the time. Sudzz FX- this stuff is amazing for hair, but it does not come cheap! I am huge fan of their Zenyth Frizz Eliminator, it definitely eliminates frizz, but it also detangles and makes my hair super shiny! The Whipped Creme and Honey Shampoo, also by Sudzz FX smells divine!
Macy’s.com – Again, for me this was a total shock. I guess I shouldn’t be shocked, since they’ve upped their beauty game recently with their Impulse section. I don’t have so much luck in the store though, I think it’s because the layout of the store. I have amazing luck on their website though! They carry Laura Mercier, MAC, Urban Decay as well as having one of the best selections of Anastasia Beverly Hills products I’ve seen online! (Besides ABH own site, of course)
Beautylish.com – This one is another little gem hidden amongst all the bigger names out there. Beautylish has tons of “lesser known” brands, while still carrying some well known favs like Too Faced, BECCA, GlamGlow. Some of the other amazing brands I’ve discovered through Beautylish are Bioderma, Wayne Goss, and Inglot, to name a few.
Beautyspin.com – This website seems shady at first, but don’t be fooled, Google backs this site up with their purchase insurance at no charge! Shipping can take a bit of a long time, but I have found that they carry many non-US brands and make them accessible to us here in the us! They carry a ton of drugstore brands, sometimes at cheaper price points, like Revlon, Rimmel, MaxFactor. They also carry Bourjis, which makes one of my favorite foundations of life! They also carry Holika Holika (Korean beauty, it’s a thing for real!) They also carry Kloraine (so does Sephora but Beautyspin has a different product line up).
Beauty.com – This a sister site to Drugstore.com. If you are anything like me, CVS or Walgreens are some of the best places to shop! I feel like drugstores are like one giant impulse store, everywhere I turn I see something I need, but not really. It’s like, “Oh! A foot massager!? I totally need this!” There is a small part of my brain that tries to reason with me but… logic? Who needs that? I love Beauty.com because they have high end makeup brands like Stila, Tarte, and Koh Gen Doh but they don’t sell out of everything like Sephora does. Grr… Sephora.
Ok, these are just some of my favorites! There are many, many more!
I’ve listed some more of them of them here, although I feel like these are more well known:
